Cross-cultural design-for-charity-event (December 2008 - June 2009)
Project initiative and organisation
Hong Kong and China based artists and designers re-created a pair of Dutch wooden clogs for charity auction. The results were first shown as part of Detour during Businees of Design Week 2008 at the Red Elation Gallery, Wan Chai.
In May '09 KLOMP! auction preview was showing at Three Pacific Place.
Proceeds of an on-line auction supported Oxfam Hong Kong's 'Teach the Teacher' project in Gansu and Qinghai provinces, China.
KLOMP! auction is sponsored by The Consulate-General of The KIngdom of The Netherlands in Hong Kong.
